Jazz Nights: Skyler Stabin

Nineteen-year-old Skyler Stabin is a jazz pianist, songwriter, and singer from Jim Thorpe, PA. She was a regular solo performer at the historic Hotel Bethlehem and has shared the stage with Cyrus Chestnut under his tutelage for a master presentation. Skyler received Best Jazz Rhythm Soloist in the 2020 SteelStacks HS Jazz Band Showcase and was selected for the SteelStacks High School Jazz All-Star Band. At sixteen, she was featured with veteran sax player Paul Kendall on a special Homegrown Jazz Program on WVIA hosted by George Graham. 

She has performed at numerous festivals, including Musikfest, Montclair Jazz Festival, Victorian Ball, COTA Jazz, and was a featured performer at the Jim Thorpe Independent Film Festival. Skyler is studying audio production and engineering and is part of the Rose Record Label Group, where she writes songs, records and performs with artists such as My Guy Ri and Penny Sierra. She is a junior at the College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY, pursuing a music industry degree. Reserve your seat today; this young lady is a local favorite!
