JAZZ NIGHTS: LehCats

Saxophonist and multi-woodwind instrumentalist Norbert Stachel is widely recognized for being a unique soloist. He is also known for his strong ensemble contributions to many musical genres. Norbert performed, recorded, and toured with Tower of Power, Prince, Tito Puente, Celia Cruz, Diana Ross, Quincy Jones, Dizzy Gillespie, Carlos Santana, & countless others. Karen Stachel collaborated and performed with Wallace Roney, Bob Weir Buster Williams, Lenny White, Barry Harris.

LehCats is Norbert and Karen Stachels’ last name spelled backwards. Based in New York City, they perform original artistic and tasteful compositions that combine elements of Modern Jazz, Funk, R&B, Middle Eastern, Afro/Latin, and Rock creating a musical potpourri of creative sound.

LehCats reflects the words artistry, teamwork, and chemistry starting with the married couple. John, Edsel, and Daniel are also LehCats. The band's versatility is evident, and their ability to deliver and uplift both the music and the listener is profound.
