From a young age, it was clear that Jack Gruber was destined to become a musician with a voice like no other. Born into a family of accomplished musicians in the heart of Washington DC's vibrant jazz scene, Gruber began his musical journey at the age of 8, taking up the piano and never looking back. His love for jazz blossomed after attending the renowned "Jazz Academy of Music" camp led by Paul Carr. According to Gruber, jazz allows him to celebrate his individuality—a rare opportunity in today's society.

Known for his vibrant and tasteful approach to piano playing, Gruber effortlessly blends tradition with innovation. He fearlessly pushes boundaries and takes daring musical leaps, infusing his energetic performances with his own unique style. Influenced by the likes of Hank Mobley, Taylor Eigsti, John Coltrane, Robert Glasper, Charlie Parker, Bud Powell, and Zedd, Gruber's musical palette knows no limits.

Gruber's exceptional talent has been recognized on numerous occasions. He was selected as the sole pianist for the prestigious Maryland All State Jazz Band in both 2013 and 2014, outshining competitors from across the state. He has graced the stage at the Cleveland Tri-C Jazz Fest and received a soloist award from acclaimed jazz pianist Orrin Evans. Collaborating with esteemed musicians such as Delfeayo Marsalis, Zara Larsson, Jovan Jackson, Paul Carr, Karen Summerville, Malik Washington, Qaasim Middleton, and Erena Terakubo, Gruber has captivated audiences at renowned venues and festivals including the Mid-Atlantic Jazz Festival, Fat Cat, Minton's, Twins Jazz, Afro Punk, Strathmore Concert Hall, the Silver Spring Jazz Festival, and the Downbeat DC Jazz Festival.

Having recently been featured in a Vevo video alongside Zara Larsson, Sweden's top pop artist, Gruber's star continues to rise. Currently pursuing his masters at the Manhattan School of Music after attending the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music in New York City on scholarship, Gruber is honing his craft and pushing the boundaries of jazz even further.
