About the event

After meeting drummer Lenny White through bassist Don Pate, Bill Washer found himself playing with Joe Henderson, recording with Curtis Fuller, then touring with Stevie Wonder. Soon enough, he found himself in NYC doing shows and recordings while thriving in NYC's jazz scene. Bill's recording credits are impressive, from Stevie Wonder, Joe Henderson, and Gato Barbieri to Liza Minnelli, Whitney Houston, and  Barry Miles. Still, Bill's Broadway resume includes The Lion King, West Side Story, In the Heights, Marlow, and Hair.

Tony Marino's versatility and wide range of musicality have allowed him to accompany and record with numerous artists from jazz to folk, to pop. The bass is a part of Tony's being, and when playing, he and the bass are one. The instrument is his voice. As the premier bass player at clubs and resorts in the Pocono and the Catskill Mountains, Tony performed with many acclaimed entertainers. He also toured internationally with the Dave Liebman Band and played several times at SUNY Orange with Chris Parker. You can hear Tony's rich sound on numerous jazz recordings. Credits include Joe Lovano's "The Kaleidoscope Quintet" and Dave Liebman's Expansions.

Hector Rosado is an acclaimed percussionist, bandleader, arranger, educator, and recording artist who performed and toured with many notable performers in Latin music. Hector Rosado has gigged at New York's hottest salsa clubs and toured worldwide with David Byrne of the Talking Heads during the early 1990s. In 2001, Hector formed "Hector Rosado y Su Orchestra Hache. Hector's sound is dynamic and soaked in folklore. As a versatile percussionist, he continues to lead his group while staying active as one of the most in-demand percussionists in North East Pa.
